Sao Paulo weather, although not as humid and hot as the rest of the country, is considered to have a humid subtropical climate. The average annual temperature along the coastline is around 20 C. Summer season runs between September and March, and winter seasons are the months between April and August. The average winter temperature is around 16 C.
Sao Paulo weather does not experience any extreme climate conditions, such as excessive heat or cold and natural disasters, except the occasional street floods, which do not really cause any serious problems. Sao Paulo is therefore a nice place to visit and go to the beach all year round. However, the best time to visit the city is considered to be during March. The humidity levels are quite low, especially when compared to the rest of the country. Furthermore, as it is never too cold, it almost never snows in Sao Paulo.
The winter months are quite dry, and most of the precipitation occurs sometime during midsummer. Rainfall comes in heavy showers over a few days and thus, this causes floods in the city of Sao Paulo. Average precipitation is 53 inches annually.
The temperature is at its highest during February, which is the hottest month of the year, as the average temperature is 22 C. Sao Paulo weather during the summer is therefore quite mild, and the maximum recorded temperature is 35 C. However, excessive heat is not possible, as it is very rare for the temperature to exceed 30 C.
